The original design featured panels (3900mm x 650mm) connected by open joints. Through analysis, a plan was developed to reduce the number of panel types while preserving the original curvature of the panels. In order to improve productivity and workability, the panel size was adjusted to Mega panels (6000 x 2050mm). The F07 curtain wall, designed by Morphosis, features a horizontal and vertical projection plane. The initial design featured panels of varying sizes, which caused the mullions to lack horizontality and verticality. To improve constructability, the panel sizes were optimized and the design was modified to retain the designer's intent. 1961 drawings are sent-out for producing the plan, section, elevation and details. Clash checking between the steel structure and facade was conducted four times using Navisworks. Any interference issues were identified, discussed and resolved through design meetings with Morphosis and Kolon. In cases where steel structures had already been ordered before the interference review, production was temporarily suspended due to interference issues identified later, and additional orders were placed after the interference was resolved.
